OP is right on this one. Maybe opening up another avenue for sands would take a little bit of the drama out of hunts. Personally I've almost got 3 sands from hunts but haven't gotten lucky enough to win 1 oil or 1 UAT from ST.

All you have to do is be in a serious hunt link shell tracking spawn timers. Unfortunately most of these have hit 128 limit. No cheating needed.

You realize it's possible to get the actual logs as straight drops, right? The party leader I was with earlier managed to get 2 logs in a row from the mobs themselves.
