    Way to remove craft tag?

    I was wondering if there was a way to remove your name from an item you crafted yourself? Typically your name goes in the item's description upon craft completion; however, I have seen some players running around with crafted items (such as HQ Vanya Robe of Healing) with no crafter tag. I was wondering how/if this can be done; if not, I am definitely wondering how players are running around with HQ crafted items with no crafter tag. Retainer venture?

    You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
    -A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
    -Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
    -A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

    Well, no. It's not possible.

    How they are doing it? Either Retainer ventures like you already mentioned or whats also possible is that the crafter transfered Server IIRC. So if the person who crafted you something isn't on your server anymore.

    Or vice versa - when owner of the crafted gear moved to another server ... Or crafter's account got deleted.

    Items that doesn't display crafter's name is also a known bug.

    I wish the crafter's name would be removed upon posting the item to the mb. The only result I've seen from having names on items is harassment from other sellers.

    I sometimes use it to coordinate with other sellers to see if they're amenable to price fixing or other, similar tactics that are illegal in the US, but not in Eorzea

    Stackable items is the only thing I have seen where you can change the name on all of them by using a identical item with a different name to rebrand the others... I do this if I buy and resell stuff to mask my activities
