Slow Response Time While Typing

Hey I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but on my PS4 I have a USB Keyboard for easier typing. I've noticed when typing a lot of the time it doesn't pick up each key that is being pressed. Maybe I'm just typing too fast for the game to pick up, or if this actually a game wide thing for PS3/PS4 users.

It does lag, but just to be sure check you key input delay in the settings menu.

It's a bug on ff14 ps4 version since release 3 things happen for me if I try to type (i.e "good job")

It's annoying as hell

Keyboard works fine on ps3 and ps4 browser I only have probs on arr ps4 version

Do I even have that option on the PS4 version? Lol I know a lot of settings and options are unavailable to console users, but sadly I can't check until the update finishes around 9am EST

Yeah I'll get "Ll" when typing Lol or just a few letters missing a space not happening when I hit the space key. It's not a HUGE issue, seeing as I always check my typing before I send it if it's a long message or if it's important. Just wasn't sure if there was a way I could fix this in game myself being on PS4

Sorry should've been a little more precise. Its in the settings menu on the PS4, I think, "settings" "devices" "external keyboard". There are 3 options there, one is key repeat delay, key repeat rate. I would say to make sure they are on normal.

It seems I wasn't the first to post about this issue, as the other players forum is now in the "Being Addressed/Reviewed" Forum...though no official statement has been made by SE yet. I'm assuming they are testing it themselves...but I will check in game once the update is finished and see if I can mess with the settings if they're there for PS3/4 users. I know when I was on PS3 I had the same issue, and again on PS4...it's not every time I type I seems like for some reason the heavier player connection numbers are for my server the worse the slow/unresponsive keyboard gets. Again PS3 and PS4 I had this problem...wired DELL keyboard. I have no issues using it with the PS4 web browser...just this game.
