Legacy Chocobo

Well, I never had a chocobo in 1.0 anyway so the whole lore padding for the Legacy Chocobo is somewhat moot to me (I'm just regarding it that it belonged to someone else at Carteneau and, like most in Eorzea, is suffering from amnesia and thus latched onto any 'Legacy' adventurer it could find). I just like it for it's unique appearance and comparative rarity and exclusivity.

And I disagree with simply making it barding - even without the saddle and bridle the actual chocobo's colouring is completely different to the regular ones (notice the singed feathers and the darker colouring, plus the 'Legacy Mark' we have on our backs branded onto it's beak?). I love my Legacy Chocobo - in fact I prefer to ride it more than my default GC chocobo or any other mount. So I am perfectly happy with how it is.

You seem to have missed part of what I said.

For the barding, I was saying that it should've been a changeable one.
For the chocobo, I said that the skin of the legacy members should be the one of the legacy.

Basicaly making the Company Chocobo of legacy members with the skin of the legacy one trashing the skin of the normal one, this way we would have only one chocobo that would be the legacy one, being able to have it fight by our side.

As for the backstory, on 1.0 you couldn't fight beside it, but you still had one as a mount and with the description on the Legacy Chocobo, that same chocobo you had as a mount in the 1.0 is that same legacy chocobo.
