General Lag

Hello, I am somewhat new to this game and have run into a large problem with doing Hunts with fellow players for the NM's. My biggest issue i'm having is that even after i show up before the fight starts the monster won't load on my screen till its almost dead if at all. I have tried all my filters to minimize not needed graphics but there are just too many characters in the zone at times i can't see anything and at times the monster will actually disappear on my screen if too many players get between myself and it.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If you're in an 8 man group you can just spam some kind of aoe attack so that you deal damage to the monster even though you cant see it. You will get full credit even though you only hit it once, if the rest of your group is dealing damage.

I've changed class right before a monster, and then someone pulled early and all I could do was right click it. So I hit it twice with my book but still got full credit cause my group did enough damage
