Pretty much this. Been farming the new dungeons for the drg/mnk/tank sets since the patch hit and I've only nabbed tank/monk boots. Haven't even SEEN the other drops yet, it's ridiculous. Either get rid of the trash crafting mats, or just drop all gear so I can buy whatever mats I want from seal trade ins.

A better solution would be to include the "useless" drops in new worthwhile recipes.

I agree with this. There is some nice looking sets from the new dungeons but the amount of times you need to run them for a set is ridiculous. I know cause in patch 2.2 I got shikarees set for my bard which was a nightmare with all the crafting mats that dropped and I really don't thing I could put myself through that ordeal again. I think its like a 1 in 19 chance at getting the piece of gear you want from each boss. No thanks. What's worse is people cant even enjoy the gear artists work since actual gear drops are so rare.

This patch has been pretty strange in terms of gear progression. Now is ridiculously easy getting myth so where does the i80 gear of these dungeons fit in? I decided to just gear up one of my least played classes with those dungeons anyway and after 6 or so runs I got 0 items for my class. What exactly is the point of these new dungeons? Soldiery, I cap it weekly by just doing random stuff in game. Gear, they barely drop any and I can get better gear with myth faster anyway. Challenge, there isn't any.

Ramuh ex suffers the same fate. At least it has a challenge but after the first kill there is no point in redoing it.

The new dungeon are slow, very slow, with tons of the anti-speed run mechanic in place. That not all, the odds of company seal crafting material in box chest are too damn high. More than a few time where every chest is crafting material when we were going for vanity gear.

ST vanity gear can be gotten once a week, new dungeon vanity does not exist. That leave us with the Hunt vanity gear, somethign peoepl can visibly work toward to. Back then people run Brayfox not only becuse of fast myth but also vanity gear.
People found a way to kill off the elitist no more bull crap mouthing off getting kicked out of dungeons, people would rather join together for a purpose and not get hounded.

    In agreement lol.

It all started that SE decided that all non coil gears are to be capped at i100.

Soldiery suddenly become meh.. to the point that before Patch 2.3, raiders doesn't even know what to do with them. It was like, junk grade lol.

Ramuh EX dropping i100 again is.. meh. It is not i110 coil ilvl like how Garuda-Titan-Ifrit EX used to be i90, same level as coil 1. You can't blame people for ignoring second rate gears.

The suddenly they decided to include Sands and Oil of Time in Hunts. Tada! The whole world goes crazy. Suddenly ToS upgrades from junk grade to something useful. Suddenly you have too much Sands/Oil with too little ToS, you wish it was unlimited like Allied Seals and you could go unlimited farming for i110 gears. Suddenly ST(CT2) and Ramuh pieces becomes even more junk because it doesn't worth the effort, just get Soldiery and upgrade them with Sands/Oil later. Your only problem is the amount of ToS and ToS gears you have, and probably how much time you have. A brainless job of hunting without going through the chore of dealing with others in ST(CT2) or coil mechanics but ilvl110 gear.

Not that I am complaining (already decked in i110 and cleared T9 prior to 2.3), but pretty amusing in a sense.
