    Can't blame people for NOT doing dungeon. Answer? CRAFTING MATERIAL

    People have been saying Hunt is the reason doing nto doing dungeon anymore. Not quite the entire truth. It is true that Hunt reward are excellent but that is not the only reason. The new dungeon are slow, very slow, with tons of the anti-speed run mechanic in place. That not all, the odds of company seal crafting material in box chest are too damn high. More than a few time where every chest is crafting material when we were going for vanity gear.

    ST vanity gear can be gotten once a week, new dungeon vanity does not exist. That leave us with the Hunt vanity gear, somethign peoepl can visibly work toward to. Back then people run Brayfox not only becuse of fast myth but also vanity gear.

    You aren't wrong. Why run a dungeon where there is a high chance of getting something totally useless to me when I can do Hunts and get one currency that I can use for anything?

    Interesting considering there are people who run dungeons to get company seal mats as well, but I guess those people don't count.

    The answer is not just crafting materials being dropped from boss chests.

    It is a combination of mats dropping from boss chests, hunts giving far better tomes-to-time ratio, new dungeons not able to be speedrun-ed as fast as Brayflox could be, general rise in difficulty of new dungeons and last but not least, Sands of Time.

    All those factors compounded together simply cause people to turn towards the hunts for better rewards for their time.

    Crafting materials should drop alongside regular dungeon gear rewards. Not be the ONLY reward

    I agree, novus need tons of myth and the new dungeon is not giving it. I completely agree with you it is an compound issue. Even without sand of time, people will till rush to Hunt because of the vanity and the good myth. I recall people wish to get rid of speed run, they got their wish but the result is: No one to run dungeon with. Hope they are happy.

    Why not drop both or get rid of the potion box and place crafting material in them? Everyone happy.

    ^This. I haven't run a dungeon in 2 days except Syrcus Tower for oil. Hunts/allied seals give way better rewards than any dungeon. The party finder is so dead on my server. In prime time it barely pushes 10 parties...some nights/evenings it doesn't push 10 parties lol.

    Yes the worlds aren't barren anymore, but it's come at the cost of pretty much everything else being irrelevant now because of the hunts. Coil 2 and hunts are the only relevant piece of content imo. Which is sad because the new dungeon are really cool but...the rewards are so 'meh' especially with crafting materials constantly dropping
