    Thundaga/Blizzaga/Firaga Forte

Are these spells, used by Amon in Syrcus Tower, going to remain as is or will they be renamed to Thunder III Forte/Blizzard III Forte/Fire III Forte? There was a similar situation with the spell Void Fira that Succubus enemies used that was changed to Void Fire II to keep our client consistent since all of the player spells were renamed to the number variants instead of remaining as the suffix variants.

It could be argued they would remain unchanged to fit in with CT's classic FF theme, as well as to match things like Acheron's Quakega.

I like the original names so much...

I think it's really stupid they renamed Fira to Fire2 and Firaga to Fire3 and such...

    Very lame.

I really hope at least these ST spells remain with proper names and not with stupid numbers.

Before you pass judgement, the 'ga/ra/ja' naming convention wasn't adopted in English translations until FFVIII - all the translated FF games before then used a numerical naming system (ala, FFI, IV, VI and VII). So it could be counter-argued this is actually what Ferne and the translation team were looking at here - not following the recent titles but getting back to the series' roots. And to confuse matters even more, FFXI used both the ga/ra/ja system and a numbered tier system, leading to such oddities as 'Firaga IV'. So really, this arguement is pointless.
