More storage space!

Some of us, myself included, need more storage space. I'd happily pay for 1 or 2 more retainers a month over what the maximum is set to now. My inventories or full. Even if they are partial retainers. Say, just for storage, not for selling or ventures, I'd still be happy with that. Please, oh please, Square-Enix help us out!

Yes, due to the amount of crafting time I spend l (and the gathering to for crafting) all 4 retainers are full or very near.

I chose to take a break from crafting and to concentrate on my battle classes to gear up a bit for the future content.

So you accumulate stuff, I try to keep HQ only of the same Item, but the real thing that would help us:

Sort button that all retainers (if you have 2-3-4) will sort items between all of them.

Now I need to clear all, I will surely get more space, but that last time with 2 retainers took me about 4 hours, can't imagine 4 retainers >.<

Anyway, some said they have an OCD and likes to amass stuff in MMOs. in that case, even 10 retainers over time might not cut it, but SE's gonna make more real money out of it, so why not? hehehe

The answer to the 'why not?' Isn't that simple but really, it could be. If you had, say, 6 retainers, you would amass venture items 3X the speed of everyone with only two. Not to mention the extreme benefits of having 120 items for sale would give you. That list would push this game closer to the Pay to Win strategy of game. Which isn't fun for the long haul. But limited retainers would be fine. Just space to put more stuff. I had to buy the 2 extras 2 weeks into playing. By week 6 they were full. Im constantly juggling items into and out of my own inventory, which usually is full all but for about 6 spaces.

Get a friend you trust who's not using her retainers and throw stuff in there. Get a bunch of people who rarely play and start your own FC, then you have the Company Chest to yourself. There are ways around the system if you need storage. Frankly, I don't want to keep spreadsheets of crap beyond my 4 retainers and what I put in the chest. It's hard enough to review prices of 80 sale items and adjust according to market and decide what items should be maintained in the retainer inventories. I salute you who can keep track. I'm always going, "I know I put a level 50 item here for my Archanist. Now where is it?"

Another "quality of life" suggestion is to let us craft out of our retainer's storage w/o needing to transfer items. I'd even take the restriction of being in a city with a summoning bell... or even within N distance of one. Many other games nowadays let you craft out of your "storage vault". Having to shuffle stuff around manually is just a PITA.

I have capped all DoH/DoL, and only have 2 free retainers, and I can still sort stuff with some free spaces.

Mind you, I love Skyrim's hoarding, but OP need to seriously get rid of useless stuff.

Here's a hint: Check market prices. If said item are being sold with same (or even lower) than npc price, then npc all of them. Should already tell you that those said items are lots of abundance.

And if you have capped DoLs, consider making clearance sale of your stuff since you can just farm them anytime you want/can.

Pretty much what I did. I have 3 retainers and the inventory on each was nearly full, so I weeded out things that are readily obtainable. If I can buy it from an NPC, I don't generally keep it in my storage, though there are exceptions for frequently used items that are only available from one NPC. I got rid of a lot of the less-used items too. I mean, do I really need a stack of Wind Rocks in there when I use maybe one every two months? Things I use often and things that are a PITA to get are what I keep, along with a backstock of the things that I regularly sell.
