No one here is in a position to tell anyone that the fix is going to cost them $400 dollars. If the game is on ps3 the ps3 players have every expectation to be able to play.

Does he have a solid state drive? The ps3 versions performance seems to greatly rely on the quality of the hard drive in the system. Over the years they manufactured them using different drives and some users done an after-market upgrade. This is why there is a lot of variation in performance.
