Fates:
-Mostly of the time level sync you so the monsters don't die in 10 seconds
-Adjust difficulty based on how many people killed the last one
-You can almost always earn full credit even if you arrive late
-Rewards a couple seals and some gil
Hunt:
-No level sync so you kill a monster with your overgeared i90+ character and can use every single skill
-Difficulty never changes
-You rarely receive full credit unless you got there first in a full party
-Rewards seals that can be exchanged for upgrades to end game gear
