This is brand new stuff. Of course everyone is gonna be doing it. I don't know about others, but I don't even want sands and oils unless I happen to get log drops. I'm buying the cool stuff like minions and armor because I can get oil and sands in ST and Coil, both which I still play along with my daily dungeons.

But it won't be obsolete right away. Even when 2.4 hits and new Coil and Tome items come out, you won't be decked out in the right away. You still have the lockout on Coil and the weekly Tome Limit. i110 stuff, ie the stuff people are chasing like rabid dogs, will still be valid for a while AFTER 2.4.
