    Questions about the game.

Greetings Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn community,

I'm a new player and I have a few quick questions. I want to level an Archer and make a Bard when I'm able to, how are they in pvp and pve? Due to my schedule now a days I can't really afford to be in a hardcore raid group, does this game make it able so casual players can do end game raids?
This game looks amazing and I can't wait to play it, I just hope it doesn't let me down like so many others have done in the past. I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and I hope to really get into this game. That being said is there a lot to do at max level? I've played some other MMOs and I get to max level and there seems to be nothing else to do unless you are established in a huge guild or have friends to play with. Thanks in advance for all of the feed back.
    Thanks

Bard is a great class, and casual players can get things done (I play about 4 hours a day and have no problem.)

Depending on who you ask, the XIV experience doesn't even begin until level 50 - there's almost more four-man dungeons for level 50 players now than there are for 'on the way', and a hell of a lot more Trials (single boss battles with high difficulty), specialized content, entire postgame questlines, etc. to undertake. The major patches every 3-ish months tend to be focused on adding content for those players as well.

Bards are a sought-after party member for their ability to restore MP to allies (specifically healers), and despite dealing less DPS than other damage classes in perfect conditions, they never need to stop doing damage due to avoiding AoEs unlike other classes, so it evens out. They're solid in PvP too due to the constant harassment and their ease of just ruining a healer's day.

Finally, it's possible to get into bleeding edge content with just casual play hours - just matters whether or not you can find a group/if those four hours are at primetime when you could scrounge together public groups to take runs at it.

    Hey Spellslinginpsycho,

First of all, welcome! Hope you will enjoy your stay.

Regarding your questions, BRD is an excellent choice for starter and advanced players alike. They are needed for pve content due to their songs that can replenish spell resources, and once you learn how to kite they can be devastating opponents in PVP.

Being a casual player myself, I find more than enough things to do in endgame content, especially after the recent patches. Housing, Professions and Dungeon running are great ways to kill time, even if you can't afford to play all day long.

Thanks for all of the responses. I have one more questions, what is the best way to farm the 2000 company seals you need to get the mount. It seems like it may take awhile to farm all of those.
    Thanks!

If continue to level and just do fates, you will eventually have way more company seals than you know what to do with.

    Hello again,

I believe you have two options:

1)Grind FATEs (these are the events marked with purple icons on your minimap), you need to be part of a grand company to earn seals.
2)Complete guild leve quests for your grand company

    3) Duty Roulette

And if you also do any crafting/gathering, there's:
    4) turning in supply/provision missions at your GC headquarters

The fastest way to get 2000 seals for your chocobo is to do Halatali dungeon for 1000 seals and then some of the rest of GC hunting log. You do not even need to complete all of it.
