July 21th - Future of FFXIV - Atma vs Hunts

My personal opinion is that if they were to nerf the rewards now, it would punish players who are legit hunters making it even harder for them, as the cheaters have already gotten all they need so even if they nerf it now it would make no difference to them. Rollback is also not an option, cause like mentioned, there are many players who actually legitimately farmed for their seals. The only thing they can do now is damage control either by

1. Capping seals per week
2. Increase daily hunt rewards to match weekly ones
3. Allow seals to be acquired from more than just hunts (i.e. Frontlines, coil, ST, dailies etc) <-- personally I favor this

Seems these days Atmas Threads are close to be done for - replaced by the wonderful Hunts!

I wouldn't say that, there was a bit of a resurgence of atma threads after 2.3 came out, probably because Yoshi specifically said he wouldn't fix atma in 2.28 or 2.3, and now 2.3 is out and it's time to make the donuts.

Also this question in the Future of FFXIV Live Letter thread asking about atma seems to have the most likes of any question in the thread. Unless people just like the person who asked it and think they are smart and attractive and all around wonderful, I think it's fair to assume that people still care about atma.
