I actually liked the music in Castrum Meridianum better. It's got a Mass Effect feel to it almost. Very spacey\techie\epic, though the end of Prae at Ultima is one of the best boss themes. I'd put Garuda next in line in terms of epic boss battle music.

My favorite dungeon is Haukke Manor - both normal and hard modes though hard mode music is just AMAZING. My first time through there I was super scared, but the tank was awesome, the party was cool, and I just flared all of the things. All was well in the world and now I love that place so much.

All the dungeons have their charms, though. I like Stone Vigil a lot. Who doesn't like dragons? And for just enjoyment of the atmosphere, Sunken Temple for sure.

I've always liked Amdapor Keep. I remember the first time I faced the wall I thought I was gonna shit my pants because I thought I'd fall off.

I also like the new Hullbreaker Isle, the music sounds like something you'd hear in pokemon.

Dungeon is probably Brayflox, because damn the gobbies are so cute :3 and it's rhe moment where it all came together for me and I was genuinely challenged.

Favourite instance altogether is any Garuda fight. I could listen to her music forever <3

I'd say my favorite fight so far is the Gilgamesh Battle on the Bridge fight. It isn't a hard fight but the first time I was turned into a frog and had to hop around to avoid the chickens, I couldn't stop laughing. The simple yet almost arcade style mechanics takes a lot of the frustration out of the fight and replaces it with fun.

I also enjoy running CT a lot as well. I like the energy that's created from having so many people together in one dungeon. Plus, while the mechanics aren't all that difficult, the length of the dungeon and the fact if one team doesn't do their jobs, the whole group fails makes it challenging.

My only wish for upcoming dungeons is to have them feel more like they are a part of the open world. Once you unlock them it turns into an arcade style battle based on levels. I completely miss the rpg in doing them.

Yeah, I was specifically referencing the music for Ultima's second phase. Favorite song on the soundtrack.

Yes. SV Story Mode is just the right combination of difficulty and design. And dragons.

Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.

I like the story for Tam Tara HM. But as far as actual mechanics, probably Syrcus Tower.

Haukke Manor, both modes hands down, and for the most pathetically cliche of reasons. Was 1:12 am on a rainy Saturday night and i'm enjoying my rpgs by the fireplace like every typical weekend. After talking to the npc in Old Gridania, I head off for Haukke. The reaction I experienced upon walking through those gates and just staring up at the manors blue window (the sun was setting which just set the mood off completely) was one of being kinda overwhelmed since I HAD to complete it for the sake of story advancement, coupled with the fact that I was a noob still getting used to FFxiv's PT mechanics. Oh ya..and i'm about to take my chances in a haunted house to boot. The level of artwork in Haukke speaks volumes of the developer's appreciation for detail (look closely at whats lying on the vanity desk in the boss room...) And HM feels like the whole house has just completely fallen to darkness. So yeeeeah.. Haukke kinda does it for meh.

Brayflox hands down, its outdoors, its pretty. And...had some of the best looking gear in game specially dungeon wise that can carry you to the mid 40s easily enough.

Haukke Manor was fun just for the fact I think a lot of people don't get the throwback to resident evil mansion...its near the same set up at least, lightning too boot.
