It is nice to have another way to get I90 gear however why is the seal cost for the weapons so high? I can't see a reason why I would spend 1.5K of seals on a weapon that is not even as good as my epic one.

Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs
It's so people who don't raid have an option, even if it takes a lot longer. Not all methods of acquiring gear should be equal in terms of speed.
I think that gear is mainly just for vanity.
The irony is that the hardcore raiders/large fcs are completely dominating hunts so that the casual population/non raiders can't even do the hunt content as intended.
That's unfortunately because SE was stupid enough to let people be able to get oil/sand through Allied Seals...
Should have been limited so that you couldn't buy the bloody log with seals (at least not right away), and only have a chance of getting them from S-rank elite marks.
That would have made allied seal farming much less interesting and would have given normal casuals a chance of getting anything with seals.
What they could, and imo should, do is to add Allied Seals to FATE's with level high enough that you don't need to level sync as one more way of obtaining them, since the situation is what it is already. Would at least give casuals a chance of obtaining anything with allied seals as the daily marks give peanuts.

I really want some of the Immortal Flames gear but sadly this is exactly why I haven't even TRIED hunts. Why bother when its gonna be dead before I can even get there -_-
And not about to join an LS strictly for Hunts. I play with my FC that's it![]()
The people dominating the hunts aren't so much the big fc's as the cheats using scanning apps.
Anyone with loads of hunt marks is a cheat, non cheats haven't had a chance. The big hunt ls may not all be cheats but you can guarantee that some of the people in them who are /telling the locations of mobs are. I joined one on Sargatanas on the first day and left as soon as I saw someone mention they had scanned.
I'm frankly appalled at how many dirty rotten cheats there are, ban 'em all I say.
You make me laugh with that kind of comment. For the past four days I have managed to farm up 2,500 Allied Seals, and one of they guy from my FC that hunted since release probably have gathered over 5,000 Allied Seals. We didn't even know about the radar shit until people started complaining in forums - we have been doing hunts legitimately by referring to our group's spreadsheet on mark locations, spawn timing and dead timing, next re-spawn time, spawn conditions etc and comb the respective maps according to what is going to appear next.
