Lots of the time you aren't even using Light Shot on cool down due to popping other abilities (Second Wind, Invigorate, or whatnot)
Multishot and Trifucate benefit a lot more from higher ATK bows too.

Verdant bow is better than crab bow+3 and ul'dhan bow, just for one reason, best accuracy and the delay is 3.5sec while crab bow is 4sec and ul'dhan is 4.2, in the long run the verdant will outdamage both (a lot less miss and hits faster)
Not all is brute damage in my op.

The damage is based on the delay.
Your attack value is in fact a damage over time value, not a raw damage output.
Otherwise my Gladiator would be a DPS God with 2,4s Delay and 160+ attack weapons.
BTT:
Crab Bow +3 > Crab Bow +2 > Uldah/Verdant > Crab Bow +1
Or you think that 20 HP is more important than 15acc
A Crab Bow +2 has the same acc but much lower att than the Verdant Bow
A Crab Bow +2 is always batter than both.
All Rank 50 NM weapons are on a "rank 50 +0.5-1" level with few extra stats.

Crab bow looks s*** imo, so I'll use one of the others..![]()
Crab+2 is slightly better than the Uldah bow. I have both and tested them.
I use crab+2 over the uldah over the verdant
i have all 3. even though verdant is faster it does way less damage.. sure it attacks faster but with all the buffs inbetween the slightly longer delay works better for me
yah, I am not always hitting lightshot as soon as its up due to a bunch of other factors, so the delay doesn't really matter much IMO.
the usually sequence
light shot -> nock arrow -> ferocity -> heavy shot -> nock arrow -> raging strike -> hawk eye -> light shot (fully nocked)
repeat
if trifucate is up blah blah u get the point
As someone who has tested the ul dah and crab +3/2/1 the order is:
crab+3>crab+2>ul dah > verdant > crab+1
The hard math pretty much sums it up:
Crab bow +3
Att: 146 (127-base)
Acc: 190 (165-base)
Critical: 135 (117-base)
Crab bow +2
Att: 140 (127-base)
Acc: 182 (165-base)
Critical: 129 (117-base)
Ul'dahn Longbow
Att: 141
Acc: 166
Critical: 128
Verdant Bow
Att:128
Acc: 182
Crit: 121
