Yoshida's open world grinds are taking far too many cues from FFXI and not enough from other good games (or good Final Fantasy titles, for that matter.

I wish they would take more cues from XI pre-2007. Would add some much needed challenge to this Care Bear Land we call Eorzea. I for one hope one day SE finds the guts to be different that they used to have so we can have a game that isnt a shinier version of WoW.
