A Couple of Questions

Hi, just returning to FFXIV and I have a couple of questions:

1) Which classes are for pure DPS? I don't want to start off tanking or healing.

2) Where the heck do I download the game?

3) Did they fix the horrible lag that made me quit before? Last I saw, there was a thread about it with like 90 pages but no official update.

I notice no issues with lag, personally; it's got a lot to do with the strength of your own personal connection and location however.

Sadly, Lag will depend from player to player. On my side, I dont see lag problems.

you should define what lag issues your having. some can be addressed on the players end. Some are simply because your not playing with an up to date system. for the longest time I thought I had lag issues and then I fixed my laptops hard drive and I no longer had to move preemptively.

^ This. Since I moved to PS4 my lag has disappeared. Sometimes I get it (rarely), but nothing a router re-set and PS4 restart does not fix

Also, depends on what you class as lag. Dodging AOEs and getting hit I am a bit "meh" on whether that really is lag....but if I am talking to an NPC or my Retainers and I get stuck in menues, or attack a mob and my hit misses repeatedly then suddenly I get a disproportionaly massive hit off - I class that as lag
