A and S ranks are meant for parties, by design.

Based on the latest changes, even Bs are now meant for a light party.

Pretty much this. It's not really hard to invite everybody asking for a party when an S mark pop's. Really. Also, it's not really hard to join a party for them. I don't know what's the excuse there. They're almost server events, if you want to do it alone, it's pretty much against its design. You with other people, as a GROUP, contribute to the final reward. I had full parties getting 30 out of 50 seals if their contribution is not enough.
