Raising the reward of the daily marks will not stop others from doing what is essentially an infinite supply of said reward (Allied Seals from elite kills). Restricted once a day reward vs what is basically unrestricted supply... hmm...

Unless you were going on a tangent and talking about something other than daily mark rewards (which is what the OP is talking about and what you actually made reference to). Basic understanding of how your peers function is not difficult.

    ^ agreed.

I will do daily hunts and continue hoarding NMs as usual.
Increase daily hunts is just the extra seals.

Daily marks are indeed not a reason why people are hoarding, really. Even if you increase the daily mark rewards, it is still just that 5 bills. If players wanted more or wanted the Sands/Oils or whatever faster, clusters still happen. It doesn't change a thing.

BUT - if daily marks yield better amount of seals, it is beneficial to the casual players or those who doesn't have enough time, or just want to take it as a daily/doesn't want to deal with hoards. I think it is pretty fair to do so.

That's what I want. I don't want to ride around endlessly for hours looking for a mark before the mob shows up. But at the same time, I don't want to be completely boned on rewards because I only get 5 seals per daily.

Daily is 7 seals. 1 seal each for the regular mob marks and 2 seals each for the FATE based marks.
Should be 5 and 10 so that casuals can get any sense of progression from the daily hunt. Plus a bonus for completing all the daily marks.
Would still take 3 weeks or so to get one sands of time with that, but at least it would be obtainable.

After trying to "hunt" naul as well and not ever managing to get him while he is up (especially given the regular work day the majority of us have to deal with), I tend to agree with the OP. Right now this isn't even what I would call hunting: this is just one big camping marathon of sitting at ones computer in a group, waiting for someone else to just happen to spot naul and praying that everyone can get there in time to cash in. I haven't tried the A or S rank ones yet, but I can't imagine them going down any differently.

Final Fantasy XII Job board hunts where the enemies are more like optional world boss fights that we can spawn for a limited time period, would make more sense then the current system.
