It's not wrong, it's playing to the strengths and weaknesses of your party.
If the party is not geared and someone forces speed run that could equal: Deaths, arguments, people quitting, having to wait for reps or leaving nad have a 30 min timers on said person who leaves etc... in short, wasted time and a longer run.
Where if the person sees (or listens to the group who doesn't want to speed run it) that it's maybe not the best idea and went in smaller but steady pulls there wouldn't be an issue and would get the dungeon done faster than the above option.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

I don't know, in a technical way it is wrong. But ya, the moment the group fails (for what ever reason), the tank (or who ever pulled additional groups) loses all rights to complain and is fully to blame for failing to safely manage mobs for the group. After all, it was their decision to grab more so they must live with the consequences. It's not wrong, it's playing to the strengths and weaknesses of your party.

An apology would usually be the correct response in those cases rather then the more common approach of the blame game...

Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.
