Most folks prefer to hug and heal through the burst. The damage is not that much and the next big AoE is nullified by levitate.
Not worth mentioning with everyone ilvl 90+, but you can still set your eyes to roll mode.
Ok. Well, no biggie. I was doing it differently (this is how I was told when I first ran it). What bothered the crap out of me is that these two people started right on me about how much of an idiot I was, and wouldn't stop until I left the instance after the loot rolls.
You don't know all the mechanics for week-old content!!! Noob!!!
The people are what makes CT, CT. Such a joy.
So that's how that works. I was wondering because the only time that ever targeted me everyone ran away from me and I died, lol.
Did the alliance wipe? No? Did anyone die? No? Then they were just making drama.
The damage is shared? I always just waited until the aoe went off before stepping in. I'll pile in with everyone else next time. If those running away from everyone die then I guess it makes sense.
Nope, no one died. No one even came close to dying. No wipes, and the last boss was beaten in one try.Did the alliance wipe? No? Did anyone die? No? Then they were just making drama.

I always try to stay in the black area with my party to share the damage.
Unless they aren't in melee range. Then I'll keep attacking the boss and run to the Levitate platform after he starts casting Ancient Quakega.
Please, community, place the platforms close to the boss so melee dps can continue
Don't worry Northern, at least you're giving it a solid try...only way to learn, right? I did ST for the third time a day or so ago using DF, and the other 2 tanks were brand newer than even me. I was picked to MT, but still barely knew the fight.
We got to the final boss, I was doing great then SPLAT, I got up not knowing what happened, after my 3rd death, I figured out the purple circles protect. If you're wondering why it took 3 deaths, I can just say that even though my group had quite a few people in it, nobody was willing to help, but raids with DF strangers simply put aren't nice or helpful. I didn't mind doing the event, but for the people in the alliance shouting "u suck @ MT!" on the new event, seems...well typical ^^
I guess all we can hope for is that they get a big repair bill and eventually grow into an adult.
‘Hard pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I attack.’
