Relic Reborn quest start issue

Hello there. I finished the story for Relm reborn few days ago and the requirements to start off properly on Relic Reborn Quest chain for the Weapon.
this occured 14.07.14 sometime during the Night (western Europe time)
following the instructions and tips i got i did as followed

1.Completed quest "The Weaponsmith of Legend" that i aquired from Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay

2.i interacted with Rowena in Revenant's Toll and got the Letter for Gerolt

3.last step i did before i needed some rest was talking to Gerolt in Hyrstmill delivering the Letter and completed the part.
After doing so i got the icon for next quest named 'A Relic Reborn - Summoner version' now my memory fades abit because i cannot recall 'abandoning' the quest but even so the next day i wanted to continue and there was no option for it, my quest was gone..and Gerolt was not having the symbol
(now this is the very beginning so i had nothing to loose)

I have Tried going back to Rowenia,Nedric and back to Gerolt.. but there is no quest. i cant even restart the chain.

Please help. i have asked around in-game and looked around on the web and apparantly none had this issue.
I cant start the Relic quest.. its horrible

i hope i can get help asap because i cant start on this Chain quest for my Main first character. so please help.

Did you do Ampedor Keep? That is part of the quest line too.

More info on the dungeon AK:

Amdapor Keep is a level 50 dungeon. It requires a light part of 4 players. Amdapor Keep can be unlocked by talking to Nedrick Ironheart in Vesper Bay, Western Thanalan (x12,y14).
Players must have completed the quest Ghosts of Amdapor.
Time Restriction: 90 minutes
Rewards: 50 Allagan Tomestone of Mythology and 10 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery

i think i'l need to look further into that since iv'e seen trough most tips and they point out it only needs to be unlocked. might be the reason yes thanks. Cheers

i can Confirm that finishing Amdapor wont trigger the quest in any way..requirement is to unlock it. to be able to get the "The Weaponsmith of Legend"
no luck this is a bug..
