There is a big problem with this macro: if multiple people are dead, it's a tossup who you actually raise depending on how much you mash. MNK macros that included the Opo-opo form move would occasionally just use it when Coeurl or Raptor were available. When you mash a button like this, the line that actually procs can vary.

If you only have one person down, it's fine.

I have all my single target supportive skills macro'd as:

    /micon "Cure"
    /ac "Cure" <target>

This is to prevent healing yourself when you somehow accidentally lose target of who you want to heal. It saves a bunch of mana and it's really really nice when it comes to instant cast spells such as Benediction, Regen, and (really fast casting spells) Esuna.

wait, I don't quite understand this one xD

if you put <target> on a macro, you have to actually target someone.
and if you lose the target, how can you cast a cure with this macro?

Currently if you do /ac "Cure" and don't have a target for whatever reason you will cure yourself rather than fail. If you do /ac "Cure" <t> and don't have a target your spell will fail. Some of us like knowing who the spell is going to cast on instead of FFXIV deciding we meant to cast on ourselves. This is more of an issue with benediction since it has a 5 min cast time.

Keep in mind that if you lose your target after you start casting it will still go off (except death and LoS issues)

I believe there is also a char setting you can shut off but I don't remember where it is. Something about smart targeting.

I just created a macro for Benediction (to be sure I won't lose the CD if it hits me) and actually it doesn't work even with the <t> : it still uses the spell on me whereas I'm 1) targetting nothing 2) targetting a mob

So let me know if I'm missing something x)

Edit : I took my Super Chocobo and when i'm targetting nothing, indeed Benediction doesn't hit me. So the requirement must be "being in team so that it works" ?

There is a setting I forget where I think char options. Has the wording of smart targeting or something like that. I forgot about it since I shut it off as soon as I found out about it months ago.

I actually recently removed all my WHM mouseover macros and moved to targeting the heal targets instead of mobs. I felt like when using mouseovers there were short pauses between the heals and now without them healing feels much smoother.

    Use both.

    /micon Cure
    /ac "Cure" <mo>
    /ac "Cure" <t>

That way you can target the tank and mouse over anyone else that might need a cure. If your not moused over it will fall back to the tank.
