There is indeed no lack of people trying to do Frontline.
There is however several predictable(SE seems to be terrible at that) problems crippling the queue. I'll try to enumerate my best guesses(and they're quite obvious):
1. The system is based on Grand Company teams vs random teams, this alone makes the system messy for no reason whatsoever. The only reason to have it is lore, which is extremely weak specially if you consider the fact you can switch Grand Company every two weeks... we still have yet to get any kind of answer on the numerous threads regarding this.
2. The system takes waaaaaaay too long to create smaller sized matches, if it can't match within 2-5 minutes it should just pop a smaller sized match, simple as that. Same problem happened with ranked matches in Wolves Den and it's just disappointing to see SE being unable to realize how bad a system that prefers to take more wait time to build x kind of match ,rather than just giving fastest match possible, is.
3. Hunts... Yep, a vast number of the population is just spamming these, and i won't go into detail over how bad the design oversight was here, but the whole system is worsening the queues for everything, not just PvP, because the rewards are so good people aren't bothering with anything else.
*Edit adition* 4- Almost forgot about this one, add to all this how buggy/bad the queue system has always been, i've seen people(myself included) waiting on the queue for 10+m and someone gets out - requeues and gets back in while the first person doesn't get a pop(talking about people in the same GC too)..

Imagine spending an entire hour for a single pvp match. This is nonsense. No wonder why players are not doing as much pvp matches as before. This issue should be addressed immediately. Many players and I are starting to lose interest with pvp, because of the queue times.
It is kinda interesting. Hyperion is one of the primal server like Levithan, but we dont get long que like that.Imagine spending an entire hour for a single pvp match. This is nonsense. Here is also the image of my queue.. For some reason the image is not showing posted here in the forum.. Can you suggest where should I upload the picture t show up?... Anyhow, you can go to this link: http://screencast.com/t/uz6dO9lW
The queue took me 124Minutes before going to bed and same thing I did not get in the queue and again, with a party I can get in less than 5 minutes.

As i said above, likely due to buggy/crappy base queue system and/or Grand Company restrictions (for example: his might have 34 ppl queuing so not all get in vs yours being the one with just 24, so everyone gets in).
Again the "lore"/immersion from having this restriction are not worth the possible aggravation of queue times this is causing people, this was sadly a predictable issue.
Primal Data Center. Maelstrom GC. Every game I get out of the queue time is raised about 5 minutes. Now I think I might be bugged or something.
Popped after an hour and twenty minutes. GG.

What do you call this? The system says 10 minutes average time and guess what? I hope the mods are reading this.

Having 30+ minute ques on Levi :/ sucks. Was hoping the frontlines hype wouldn't die this fast :[
Really? I get in so quickly I cant even craft 1 thing between matches! When I clicked on this thread I thought it was going to be a sarcasm thread... I wonder why you have such a long cue?
