I can't help but buff all the little new plants!

So, I've noticed a surge of new player marks over people. I just can't help but throw buffs at them and welcome them to the game in some form or another. I usually answer questions they might have if I have the time to do so too.

I kind of wish I could mark myself as willing to help though. Is that in the works?

Way back when I used to play FFXI, I thoroughly enjoyed using the tutor system. I would have it up all the time and new players would approach me asking questions. It worked really well. I'm not sure if it would be a good thing in FFXIV though since the population is so much higher, you run the risk of being bombarded by multiple new players at the same time all day long. lol

Some of my favorite moments have been when I, as a little plant, was healed and buffed! Those intense moments when you think you are going to die and then a level 50 in shining armor saves the day out of NOWHERE, are fantastic and really bring the community together. So keep up the good work sirs and ma'ams.

Actually because of moments like these I have been inspired to work on my CNJ class next so I can help the little buds. (Still too scared to tank)

Oh, yes, all these innocent, defenseless little plants to deflower... err, I mean exploit... I mean, I mean... What I am trying to say is, I really like new players. Especially with Ketchup.

Jokes aside, I do like these new plant icons, too. Every time I see a new player with that icon, it just cheers me up a little. That icon shows - this person is not yet an arrogant, overgeared jerk. They might someday become one, or they may not, but at that point in time, they're most likely too inexperienced to be arrogant, and that's a good thing.

Since I'm playing frontlines like a berserk, I get a ton of myth and I'm always capped now since I don't have any use for myth anymore.
I think, I'll buy a bunch of those super cute minions (for 30 myth) and give them to every new player I see, I guess they'll be kinda happy about it :3
I also throw emotes at them like /welcome or /cheer as they might feel welcome to the game ^^
