I agree. I absolutely loved the Mognet quests!

I agree. I absolutely loved the Mognet quests!

I actually went and did the Hildebrand? investagator ones while I was at it too. Actually found it a nice change and funny.

These quests was my favourite content for the patch, really wonderful and I always got a giggle when i 'leveled up'

If it makes you feel better, she never actually landed a hit on the baby. It dodged literally every attack she threw. The whole point was essentially testing whether the mole had what you might call "blindsight". (Spoiler, highlight to view.)

I'd be hard-pressed to beat that. Can't bash a post that well-polished, though some might find it rather long.It was quite the experience getting our hands on Hunberct's lengthy exploits once again. Our esteemed Brass Blade brandishes his finely-polished longsword of love as he wrestles with a catfight between the ladies under him. And while he may be the only actual member of his unit, the twin sisters support him well after you deliver his new package right to his hands. You'll cry over Captain Longhaft's touching sensitivity towards the young ladies, and learn why he stands erect with pride at their skill in working with his unit.
The dialogue of this quest is in fact quite polished, and stands quite well on its own. Hopefully this release will be one of many more to come, and give rise to a whole series that touches on the Captain's mighty unit, and the impressive tales of his Mi'qote companions.

Yep. On an early side quest in Uldah(like b4 level 5 i believe), there's a npc that says "Once you go black, you never go back." lol The npc himself was talking I think about the color of a dress, but to have the saying in there was pretty funny.

While I got several laughs from Mr. Longhaft's quest, I feel the first 3 were probably the best written.. to some degree. Out of the 3 Adventurer's Guild proprietors I felt that Baderon wasn't quite as good as the other two. I suppose it was a small mixture of funny/serious. I loved Momodi's as it was pretty funny, but also an insightful look at a small portion of her past. Miounne's tale was a sad one, but oh so good. Though the Longhaft quest, well.. okay, it was well written too, I am a sucker for some good innuendo.
It seemed to me all of the quests after that were less serious and more or less always humorous. To be fair though, they were all a welcomed change of pace from the normal grind. The one with Spenser, I laughed when I realized that it was about that guy you beat up in the fate at Buscarron's Druthers. Once I made that connection (because it's been a loooooong time since I actually did that fate) as to who "Spense" was the story was all of a sudden a lot more funny, not to mention made more sense.
Definitely look forward to more of these quests. I just hope that there are more quests that tell a serious or sad tale, and not all of them end up being a chucklefest. I mean, we have good ole Hildy for the laugh department and he manages that superbly.

While I don't mind a chuckle every now and then, I really hope that they will use this to tell us more about NPCs that had a larger role in 1.0. As someone who only started player after ARR was released I would love to learn more about them.
