Something unbelieveable happened

I gotten 2 ATMAs, Back to Back!

Okay so I was near Camp Overlook about to turn in the Kobold quests when I saw FATE pop. I try to do the fate but was swarmed by the Kobolds and wiped.

After returning back to the area I saw the Fate with the voidsent bombs popped up I did that and suddenly I get the Atma of the Lion!

Deciding to push my luck, I head to the East Shroud to and did the first fate i saw (in this case Thunderstruck) and I from that FATE I got the Atma of the Goat!

Now I'm grinding for seals and the Virgo Atma (Atma of the Maiden) but I must say I feel quite lucky to get 2 atma today, let alone in a row

I’m about 6 hours in without a single drop. The drop rate is so low that I’m beginning to second guess myself if the quest is even active on my character -_-

Is there specific fates we have to do? All the guides I have come across say its any fate in that region.

One thing I can say in favor of the hunts is that it makes Atma grinding bearable. You can keep your eyes peeled for pops/caravans of people running to pops and snag some seals while you wait.

I've devised a system to farm a zone until I get Atma or a B/A rank mark before moving on to the next. Keeps the scenery changing without a feeling of "wasting time" in a certain zone.

I actually got the ATMAs this morning. It took awhile to post this because of the farming.

They need to get rid of the roulette style reward system, and make new fates specifically labeled for atma.
This any or all chance eats into my play time.

Keep at it; I had awful experience with Atma, until I fully committed myself to dedicating more time to it. I still don't like it much but I will say it felt surprisingly good to finish that part of the quest FINALLY.

The RNG is with you. I've had days like that, and I've had days where I got 1 in 8 hours.
