I am a relatively new MIN and while I understand location specific buffs, such as: If gathering is greater than or equal to 90, then you receive +10% gathering rate. Great. Awesome. But what I don't get are the ones that require high amounts of STR and MND and other attributes. Those attributes will never be that high, ever, because I am wearing gathering gear and the base stats still aren't high enough to hit that. So what's the deal with that?

your STR/MND increase with your levels. Usually, you'll have the bonus at the level of the bonus (i.e, you'll have enough STR/MND for a bonus on a 26-30 node at level 30).

If you still lack stats at lv 50, maybe try a str/mnd meld or a str/mnd accessory instead of a GP one

I'm a Keeper. At L 50 Miner I had to meld 2 STR on my mining gear for ONE LOUSY NODE.

But I did it. /smile
