    FPS Problem?

Hello, i just recently played this game, i have some problem that i'd like to ask.

I'm currently playing this game @Maximum setting on PC, i have done the benchmark test and scored very excellent. The problem is, i get a very unstable FPS while playing, the average FPS is between 50 - 60, and it's rarely stable at 60, it's even dropped to 30 - 40 sometimes. It happens randomly, not only in crowded situation, it's sometime dropped when i turned the camera etc.

I have tried the standard settings too, while maybe not as much bothering as the maximum setting, it's not getting stable fps @ 60 too.

Anyone can helps? Or this is perfectly normal?

    this is my PC specs:

    i7 4930k
    16 GB RAM
240 GB SSD (where the game running from)
    NVIDIA GTX Titan Black

The "Maximum" settings on PC disable options like occlusion culling, in theory it would make the game "better" but in practice it might be what's killing your framerate (with almost no visual improvement).
Try playing on the "High-Desktop" settings and see if the FPS are more stable.

Yea try turning things off that may lower performance. Also, download HWMonitor and while the games running, look at your maximum degrees of various components. What I did is put the game in windowed mode so i can watch both at the same time and found out that when mine got to a certain temperature, it would throttle and FPS would drop to 10. So I knew I was overheating. A good cleaning may be what you need. I took apart my heatsink and cleaned it real good.

What about your connection? Is it wireless? Maybe getting interference. Is it wired? Check your cable, or try another one. How old is your internet gear? (router, modem). Are there other people or programs using the internet? Virus software can wreak havoc on internet speeds.

I had serious lag issues with online gaming. I replaced my modem and router with new gear, and haven't had an issue since.

Thanks for replying guys, the FPS is down when my camera is directed towards some area. One example is when i'm facing adventurer guild in quicksand, my fps down to 40ish, and when i faced backwards again, it back to 120, of course it seems its not only in adventurer guild because i have experienced fps down in many area. Coincidentally i just bought a new modem and router, and i'm using LAN connection. And my GPU temp is 60 - 70 ish when playing. There was one time when its gone up to 80 too haha.

But i think i'm now getting used to it, have tried so many things but couldn't fixed it, thank you for the help guys!
