Other than needing an HP boost, I don't see a problem. What am I missing?

They seem like regular fates. No one comes to the forums to complain that they missed Odin, showed up late to Svara, or missed The Four Winds for their atma book.

You also never see people screaming in /sh at players for starting before they showed up either? Wonder why that is....

The only thing I get pissed about is the LS folks spam resetting b rank mobs until their fifty friends get there and liquefy the mob. But, I guess I was the asshole for shouting pos and randomly attacking the solo intended mark. Shame on me. DBAA, thanks all.

I agree with this to an extent - the mechanics of hunts require party or full party for hunt contribution points. Someone solo shouldn't get full outside of daily and possibly B rank. They are party hunts. You can bypass the mechanics to an extent if you and 1/4 others party with your chocos out (making light/full parties) and get full credit.

As it is, if five full parties showed up, and each person in the party hit the mark ONE TIME each and only once, everyone in each party will get full credit. I tried it with a party I was in yesterday on an A rank. We all only got one hit in each and we all got full credit.

My problem is the edge people who cheat and violate ToS have through FFXIV App and SE being unwilling to punish offenders or level the playing field by making all marks appear on everyone's mini-map.
