Verizon FIOS Interfering with patching?

Hey everyone,

So my interest piqued for 2.3 and decided to get the PS4 version of the game (previously had PC). Linked my accounts and tried to patch the game.

While patching the PC version previously, I needed to use a VPN in order to download the patches, otherwise I would get tons of errors. At the moment (without VPN) I am getting errors:

ON PC: Unable to download patch files. [30413][20495][19900][3]

ON PS4: Unable to download patch files. [20512][20495]

My download speeds range from 2-4MB/s to as low as 0.25MB/s. Then, I will receive this error randomly and am unable to patch both my PS4 and PC copies. This is incredibly frustrating.

Previously having talked to Square Enix via Live Chat they told me that it's Verizon's problem and there's nothing they could do, and I had a 4-day back and fourth with Verizon & Square w/o resolving any issues. Escalated the issues several times and nothing new came about.

I'd really like to play this game. Please provide any help if you can.

Verizon, Comcast, and Time-Warner are the three worst internet service providers in the United States. My only recommendation would be for you to research other providers in the area. I wish you the best of luck and encourage you to post a comment to the FCC's thread regarding their Net Neutrality proposal. Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and Time Warner all hope to make problems like these even worse for us.
