    Thanks so much for this!

On my server (at least before the patch, I haven't checked materia prices since the patch and can't right now), the cheapest melds are:

Rose Gold Choker: Cunning 4, Command 3, Competence 2, Cunning 2, Command 1

    Mosshorn Earrings: Cunning 4, Command 3, Competence 2, Cunning 2, Command 1

Dodore Belt: Command 3, Command 2, Competence 2, Cunning 2, Cunning 1 (much cheaper than ending with Cunning 3)

Money I spent on old melds: ~700,000
Average expected cost of new melds on my server: ~920,000

Eh, could have been worse, I guess?

Is this small gain necessary to make new items? I am max melded and have i70 weapons for all crafts. Do i have to do the new items just to craft the new accessories

Also, the increases for max melds are:

CP: +6 (+4 from ears, +2 from neck, +0 from belt)
Control: +7 (+1 from ears, +1 from neck, +5 from belt)
Craftsmanship: +3 (+1 from ears, +1 from neck, +1 from belt)

I'm a bit disappointed by the CP gains - I was hoping for at least +8. The nice thing about the +3 Craftsmanship is that you no longer need to meld craftsmanship to an offhand to make three star items. And more control is good, I guess?

Where and how do you get the recipes for these?

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

I'm guessing they come from the new master craft books. I was worried about the desynth grind, but it doesn't seem all that bad so far (1 field, 3 battle demimateria after an hour or so of making and breaking gear to level).

This is awesome, thanks! I know this may be asking for a lot, but could you upload a mini-guide on how to obtain the new master recipe books and the new ilvl75 primary? Yes, may be asking for a lot, but someone's gotta do it and I vote for you!

P.S. Will I need my artisian ilvl70 primary tool for ALL of the new masrer recipes AND in order to receive the new ilvl75 primary tool? I have all of the stuff necessary to grind out for my first ilvl70 primary, but I'd much rather sell that material than use it to acquire something I'm about to replace, unless the ilvl70 was somehow required in order to obtain the ilvl75.

No you will not need new tools to get the new master books / tools

but you will need to do a lot of desynthing

as the mats for the book are gained from desynth

Battle stuff is from DoW/DoM gear and Field is from craft/DoL gear

Actually I think you do need the Artisan tools to get the new lvl 75 tools. The new tools require 5x 3-star test mats (the upgraded versions of the 50x 2-star test mats used to get the Artisan tools). Even with the new crafting gear, fully melded, and food, I don't think it's possible to meet the minimum 3-star requirements without using an Artisan tool. I would be happy for someone to crunch the numbers and prove me wrong, but on a quick calculation I don't think I am.

That's not to mention the 3 Mastercraft demimateria you need to get the new tools, which look like they're going to be VERY difficult or expensive to get - probably from desynthesis of level 90 gear.

EDIT: As Nyalia points out, the Fieldcraft III may be even worse than the Mastercraft. I've also only gotten level II demis from level 55 crafting gear. And Artisan gear is the only thing higher... I would suggest trying it on the Specs and not the tools though!
