Well this is disappointing I'm only missing 2 lvl 100 gear pieces and I was hoping to find a 2nd coil group to start getting item lvl 110 equipment and took my a while to get all that gear, now if I got to all the big cities I can see a lot of people with all the 110 item lvl gear already and this patch has been out for a week and a half. So it looks that for SE it's better mindless grinding that to actual finish raid content in order to get the best gear. I don't like grinding that It's why I left WoW because of the annoying dailies that had to be done just to purchase gear, but at least the best gear was only available trough raids. Idk anymore I feel that if I continue playing I'll be wasting my time.

Lol yea try telling that to the average PF group on my server who's still trying to get turn 6 down.
(and let's not even go into the poor souls still trying to clear turn 5)
Not everyone can clear 2nd coil, but anyone & everyone can spam flash and flare for a day and have a piece of gear without any effort.

Yeah and ? Before you had to farm amdapor / wanderer palace ad nauseam and these weren't quite the challenge in any way too. Besides the only pieces you can gear that are meaningfull with hunts are .... myth ones.

AK and WP took a decent amount of effort back in the day. No offense but comparing those to the effort you have to put into hunts is simply wrong on so many levels.

yeah i posted a hunt complaint earlier today as well.i see so many complaints about the hunting system i assume at one point its gonna be rehauled and then by then its to late everyone moved on ? eh well you all have fun and do what chu do imma go findme a beeer and a movie and call it a day o.o

It's not the fact people are catching up without raiding, it's the rate at which it happens. People are capping soldiery with the hunts. Getting their Animus/Novus Mythology with the hunts. Everything is just fucking hunts. It's not easy to ignore either, as the chatting about it takes place in literally all areas, all chats, it's just so upsetting at this point to be reminded of the radar-using zergers everywhere, who QQ/badmouth everyone publicly all the time.

What's the problem and link with T9 kills? I too have killed T9 and reached i110 before Patch 2.3 and all these hunts. Does it matter if people catch up? Doesn't bother me, good for them that they are getting gears. I just care for myself and reach out for my own goals, such as farming vanity gears and stuff for alternate jobs.

I mentioned it to preface the fact I don't mind people catching up to i110, as some people who are in the priviledged situation of farming SCoB don't like the idea that their speshul i110 e-peen is taken away from them. That part of my post wasn't as relevant as the part coming thereafter. The incentivization is not really balanced here, though I guess it's to be expected during a catch-up phase preceeding the next major patch. Again, the reasons the hunts put me off are more tied to how it makes the community act, ie. the latter part of my post. It's like there's nothing going for the game except the hunts right now. The system in itself has flaws as the OP mentions in the OP.

No offense, but he can hang out with me anytime, he's just being blunt, and he's got a point.

Hunts, band-aids notwithstanding, are a mess, you get your credit or you don't, hopefully they tweak them some more but if they don't ill manage.

Follow the crowd, say nothing, don't pull first.
