I don't have the greatest computer to play this game, so I often have a pretty good amount of lag. Occasionally (4 times since ive been playing) my client will fail to render the world fast enough and I end up running through walls/falling underground. I find it very amusing and end up going exploring underground (Side note: Is this a bannable offense? Theres no exploitation going on, just running around under/outside the map looking at things.) And today it happened outside Limsa Lominsa right around (34, 27).
So I'm running around and at a particularly low part of the map (probably around 30,33 or so) I encountered a Tempered Biast very far above me but within visible range. Just out of curiousity I attempted to engage it and I was actually able to auto attack it. It startled me so I disengaged and ran away before it glitched down to where I was and violated me but thought it was a big nonetheless
If players could find a way to go underneath the map by force (instead of just lagging down there) they would be able to fight and win against monsters they normally shouldn't be able to and get an easy ride up to 50. (I've seen this happen on other games in a similar scenario).
Just thought I'd post it up here so SE can patch it before it becomes exploitable because for laggy people like me falling under the map happens more often than it should lol. And I don't want to be accused of abusing some underground leveling glitch just because I fall under the map every now and then.
