The coolest dungeons and raids are those where people say hi at start and keep their mouths shut till the end. If you die you will/should know which person is new and can explain what he or she did wrong after - no need to talk before that.

Being on a ps is no excuse to not communicate. most of my fc is on ps and they got a keyboard just to communicate with everyone. this is an mmorpg, not single player. if you dont communicate expect to be treat like an npc in those sucky protect/follow quests that they have no idea what they are doing.
Usually i communicate what i want and how i want it.
Eg in tam hard, when i see i got a whm i will tell them that i want them to holy the adds to hell and i wont die in a few seconds, just to give me a regen or something and ill be fine.
I found out that most are happy to do that, but are too scared to take the initiative.

I can't say about the end games dungeons and trials, but during my leveling process I have encountered a quite large number of players that misbehave. And I don't want to be bias, or racist or anything like that but majority of those players were French. Sorry if this hurts anyone but they seem not to understand basic english and are not capable to understand that 2 is after 1. Yesterday I did 3 dungeons, 2 of them were spoiled by those kind of people and 2 out of 3 people that were misbehaving were French. One was a healer spamming Medica till his mana went out (he was not able to heal me enough on normal 3 mobs pulls and he was stealing aggro as mad - it was low level so I had no shield oath to maintain aoe aggro well). After telling him to stop doing that and start curing instead he replied that this is the way he wants to do it and he will continue to do so no matter what. Two of them were DPS, one pulling everything (ARCanist with TOPAZ summoner) that did not stop even when we said he should focus the marked one, unsummon topaz and stop pulling and second was an archer who did not give a single frack even when he died when pulling (me and healer just stop doing anything to see how it ends).
I have much more examples of misbehaviour. I never thought that French people are s stubborn and are not able to learn basic english. I've never had any bad experience with them in any other game...

As a Main Tank.. (Even if i'm on Any other Class) i Ususally ask if everyone has done it before.. If yeah, I Just go. If not i Offer too Explain the Bosses.. Saves Wiping. Also.. I Always Start Titan Hard Mode with "Welcome too Titan's School of Dodging".... Gives People a Hint at what they should do.
Sometimes insanity is the Only option.... Sanity Isn't the Norm, It's only what's Expected.
Insanity is the option that you can take as an Exit if you need too.

I usually tell them 'Welcome to dodgemaster 9000' or something![]()
I've learned you often have to be more specific than that. Cutter's Cry was used as a good example. You ask me if I know the fight with the princess, I'll say yes, assuming that the healer is going to kite the adds, whereas the healer might have always had the tank pull the adds. If the notification comes up that someone in the instance is new, I'll quickly explain all the fights as we get to them without asking "is anyone new?" and putting some new kid on the spot.
