Hi i want to get back on FF, but i don't know what server too choose, i look for (EU preferences, but it's ok if NA are better) with a high population and friendly people.

I heard a lot of good things about Gilgamesh, is it a good server ?

Can someone help me ?

Pretty sure there's nice people on every server .. I recently moved from an NA server to a EU server, and did a little research.. It seems Odin and Phoenix are the most populated EU servers (at least, at the time I checked.) Since Odin was closed for transfers at the time I transferred, I went with Phoenix. Phoenix also had a nice linkshell that's meant for getting help with content, running dungeons (old an new, usually no speed runs, no whining/complaining/ragequitting etc. In fact, my first run with some LS members we did Sastasha, and we almost ran out of time ) or just having fun.

I'm on Gilgamesh. It's as nice as probably any server. It's well populated and active. In our FC we have a couple of EU folks, but I believe it's considered an NA server.

Are you planning on playing a new character btw? If so, I'd suggest looking for some people who'll want to help you with story content. The low level duty roulette does help a lot getting you through the story mode dungeons, but most of the time people don't want to wait for cutscenes etc. Especially the later ones like Castrum and Praetorium can be a pain if you prefer to take things slow.

If you decide to go for Phoenix, feel free to add me to your friends list. I'm always willing to help with things.

In the end though, the most important thing is to have fun, and don't let speedrunners ruin your experience
