Gear Damage on 'Return'

It is a 25% reduction upon return. It states this in the patch notes.

Then it isn't working correctly, because I had to die and return three times from 75% durability before it told me my stuff was broken.

EDIT: I just looked and it only says there is a durability loss, but it doesn't say a specific amount.
