You only got 2 seals because you did not join a party I think.

To get the proper rewards for hunts you have to join a party and kill together.

I also decided to test how much you get alone this morning, Melt popped and I went on BRD, there was at least 20-30 people there when they pulled it and I actually DPS'd it quite a bit and it didn't die too fast, it was up for 30 seconds to a minute but since I was solo I only got 2 seals.
