I usually craft in our neighborhood MB. Me and a bunch of members of all houses arround do it, the chorus is magnificent, hammerin, tinkerin, cuttin, slicing, wrapin, choppin and swearing!
Only peasents have to deal with the sounds of the... Cities.
OP, you know you can walk through people right? Or will that break your immersion...
Ain't shelling out 300k for something without any practical purpose. Plus, from my understanding there's no market board we can use in the houses. Why aren't they crafting in their personal rooms?

At least when I set up my little ARM or LTW table it doesn't take up too much room. The problem is those CUL. That get-up they have. I mean who can carry around a full kitchen like that with them? Where do they store that thing? They look like that samurai dude at the hibachi doing all his fancy tricks cooking up his fish.
I have had people doing this while I craft and all I had to do is lover sound level and keep crafting as I watch the crafting icons not some weirdo jumping around me.I have a solution for you to try....Get a pack of people in the similar mindset as yourself. Have them get on their DRG.....SPAM SPAM SPAM AoE attacks right on top of them. Eventually they will get annoyed and move. Usually only takes about 4 DRG's but it's like a fly swatter! Enjoy!
heh-heh..."handling their business"...

You do realize that you can just walk through other players... right? You don't have to move around them. They're not actually blocking anything by being there. And people craft there because a.) the market board is right there in case they need to buy materials or new crafting gear to put on. b.) the retainers are right there when they want to sell off what they've crafted. and c.) the equipment mender is right there as well, when they've run their durability down. It's a convenience thing. What actual harm does it do you for them to be crafting right there? None whatsoever. So what, exactly, are you really complaining about? That other people want to play other aspects of the game than you do and you don't like it because you have to see them doing it and that somehow offends you? Because seriously, they're not in the way. You can just walk right through them. The struggle is real every day. I come out of an onerous coil or bad Duty Finder, and all I want to do is check on my retainers and be on my way. That's modest enough I would think. Well, it's bothersome when I go to the market place and see that there are swarms of crafters just tinkering and hamering in the middle of the little walking space the market place has. They are crafting in the only space I have to walk in! I have to sidestep, tippy-toe and jump over the gauntlet of unruly crafters that have obviously never heard of The Right of Way. All this just to dump a peacock ore or two on my retainer. Ugh.
Did your crafting job quests forgo to teach you about common courtesy? Come on.
