A looot of people completely lost the joke of the thread.... rofl Funny xD
But it is true though! I try to get to the bell and I step on toes, fingers, tools... I had a wheel thrown at me once, they get so concentrated they get violent!

@OP - I know, I'm always tripping over anvils and getting whacked with blacksmith's hammers!
tbh as a crafter I really wish that they would throw a market board and retainer bell into the crafting guilds. People are going to craft by them anyway, why not keep people in their guilds? I personally craft at my house or in my room most of the time, but not everybody has that luxury.

Haha I have to laugh at this a little because it does annoy me as well, but I also craft in those areas so you'll never see me complain about it. The reason people do this is because it's the most accessible location for the market board and retainers. Apologies but I am not going to buy mats and then run to the other end of the zone before I craft with them, you'll just have to deal with it.. or turn off your sound. There are a limited number of market boards in this game and I want to be near them when I craft.
The only way I see this changing is if the crafting guild gave some sort of stat bonus or if they added a crafting area to mor dhona with market boards and summoning bells I'm sure all the crafters would migrate there in a heartbeat.
And thats just the adventurers, you should see what their mounts drop! XDIf ya really want to complain about something what about those rude adventurers, always riding their mounts into the buildings! You try to go in for a drink after a long hard day and bam, chocobo feathers, horse hair, scales... dung... all over the place. I heard one of the workers complaining about how they have to wash down the floor several times a day...
This thread made me chuckle at all the super cereal defensive comments some made XD
All you "adventurers" have it so easy, while you are all busy tromping through the fields generally destroying the artwork that is the armor made by the crafters that allow you to survive meteors falling from the sky, you have the audacity to instruct us to move from our work area of choosing because your arms are to short to reach over and ring a bell an extra foot away. Even better the stories i hear in the pub at the end of the day from you people bragging about killing a giant pile of rocks, while I die a little inside looking at what used to be a beautifully crafted cobalt trident, now a mangled pitchfork strapped to your backs.
That isn't even taking into the account the repair npc mafia that has taken away the bread and butter of the bartered repairs often offered in trade as opposed to fleecing you out of your hard earned 1564gil

Ever since my FC bought a house, it's the only place that I craft.I know this is a joke thread but I'm surprised with all the people crafting in a crowded town when their FC has a house, which should be conveniently located near a bell and a market board in the housing area.
I only craft outside if it's just one or two items, mainly for GC turn in.
It's so peaceful, and I get to hang out with other members of my FC while I'm at it.
I only wander into town for Quests or the occasional NPC item now.

We prefer to craft at our FC house, so much quieter and no DoW/DoM's spamming abilities.

Why aren't they crafting in their personal rooms?

Know what, next Roe that steps on my tail when I am cooking, gets my knife thrown and lodged into their *beep*
