Please remove the glamour class restrictions.

Honestly I do not see the point if restricting glamour by your class. This glamour system is stupid and limiting. It's hard to be really creative when there are so many limits on glamour. It's not as of it affects anything. Weapons are obviously excluded from this. But gear shouldn't not be that damn limited. It's kind of sad seeing so many copy paste fashions because of the limitations on the current glamour system. Please remove it. The only ones I can accept be in place are from GC gear since it has to do with allegiance but aside from that it's a pointless limitation. It's not like we can fool anyone in pvp what are classes are -_- are names already say what we are and glamours are inactive in the frontline and wolves den.

Maybe the people in your server just suck at creating good looks. Admittedly the system is limited, but I've seen plenty of 'creative' stuff around Adamantoise.

I'm willing to bet the reason they haven't done this yet has to do with why we can't glamour multi-slot pieces like Odin's chest yet... Just limitations in the structure of how gear equips that, at the moment, isn't important enough to warrant a fix due to the complexity involves in said fix.

I agree, I'd happily tank in a Vanya robe or play Bard with some pieces of heavy armor on. I very much hope for this restriction to be lifted someday.

Agreed. It wont really break the lore or anything since certain npc's run around with gear not belonging to their "class" anyways and itd make more intricate looking characters running around.

Necro bumping this because I am tired of all the fun glamoured items not being available on my chosen classes. It really shouldn't be hard to allow us to wear gear just for looks without lass restrictions. If my tank can look like a reindeer or snowman without bothering me I shouldn't have to worry about people not being able to tell my job without taking a few seconds to look at the party list.

Perhaps not Relic or Artifact gear, but at the very least let us wear regular gear regardless of jobs or classes. There's some really nice outfits i wouldnt mind dressing my fisherman in, but i cannot due to restrictions. Or a chainmail or a plate for when i'm on my healer.

I guess I can concede af though admittedly I kinda wanted to wear whm af pants on my miqote all the time without having to play whm
