    Beastmaster

    Remember Beastmaster in FFXI (I know, I know...) had the nifty radar you could use to hunt NM's? Fix Hunts by adding a quickly put togethered, buggy, slap job POS Beastmaster class in the next couple weeks. Bam! Now everyone's got Radar.

    Maybe release Rogue early, with a 'Huntsman' trait at level 15 or something. I really feel this would be a proper alternative to nerfing what could be awesome content. But it's only awesome if you level the playing field, remove the exploit of add-ons.

    the fun thing is beast master is in the game lore as a trait common among female ishgardens, and it is stated that they have the innate ability to control monsters, plus ishgard in story PLUS ishgard hints

    If you're actually serious, we could use this info to determine that something relating to Beastmaster will come with the expansion (which will involve Ishgard because of the whole 1000-year conflict thing), chances are the class that will lead to BST will be a tank job. *keeps fingers crossed*

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    She is but the only info about this came from one of the hamlets in 1.0, I believe it was the Eagle's Nest. The NPC talked of how high class women of Ishgard would tame and control pets.
