Hello!
Lately, I've had a lot of people in game talking to me about 1.0 and what it was like, what the story was like, what the differences are between some things...for example, the White Mage story in 1.0 and ARR are different. I very much enjoy going through these differences with my friends who were not part of 1.0 but are enjoying ARR so much that they want to know what happened in 1.0.
I enjoy it so much that I often find myself going afk for hours spending time on youtube looking for moments in 1.0. I even find some things that I have regretfully forgotten about. And then I wish I could view these cutscenes with my own character again...since at the time I had a computer that wasn't powerful enough to run both 1.0 AND a recording program of any kind as 1.0 took a heavy toll on my resources back then.
You probably see where I'm going with this...
SO. Here's my question... what are the chances of nostalgic 1.0 players (and those who are interested in it) getting their hands on some kind of 1.0 cutscene viewer? Unedited. Just the way it was. I'd love for a way to watch every cutscene that was in 1.0 with my character in it again. Just like the character creation benchmark. Edit your character, and be able to scroll through lists of 1.0 cutscenes. That'd be a dream come true for me. And probably for those who ask me all these questions about 1.0.
Yes I would pay for this.
And while I'm at it, I would absolutely love an offline functioning version of 1.0 straight from Square Enix...Or if we were supplied the proper data...I'd love to have a little private server minecraft style for my friends run from my now "more than capable" computer. But I know this is even more of a long-shot than what I'm originally asking for here.
~Thank you
EDIT:
I'm not asking for something to be added to ARR, but a whole stand alone cutscene viewer entirely. Like the benchmarks...for instance.
