    All those free to play games aren't really free though. In the end, you will pay more then you do now just so you can stay viable in the game. Free to play games are Pay to win in the end even if they start off fair.

    While this is true of a lot of them, there are some exceptions. Still, for a company to stay in business they have to have income so even if items that you can buy in F2P games don't give a distinct gameplay advantage they do usually offer a lot of convenience or simply look pretty. They have to sell something to a lot of people to make up for the lack of subscription.

    I'm not sure how you're coming up with $100 for 120 days in any case. I pay a bit less than that per year with a legacy discount, but I can't imagine the discount is that much.

    I was wondering about the math myself. It does cost 180 if you pay $15 a month for 12 months.

    I do understand that companies need to make money which is why I don't mind dropping $60 for the first month then $15 for the rest of the months. The problem arises when that amount doesn't cut it anymore because someone else is paying $100 if not more a month destroying everyone.
