    Overwhelmed a bit

So I admit I just have managed to get all of my crafts to 50. That being said apparently I didn't accomplish much of anything. Now I have to figure out how to get to where I can craft 2-star items and what materia I need for each crafting set.. Let alone unlocking the master books.

Is there any advice or some guide for this sort of stuff somewhere Sorry if this is a bit of a newbish question but I really am at a loss as to what I should be focusing on now that I have all or most of my crafted sets made and hq'ed.

    Materia guide here.
Rotations/macros for your starred item crafting here.

You know what's so overpowered in this game, that they just HAD to leave out?
    -Buffing during cutscenes.
    -Pets receiving the Protect buff.
-A blacklist with more than a 200 player capacity.
-Filtering the flying text for your own numbers.
-A better way to organize and sort through your macros.

I'd suggest holding out for awhile on melding. The prices right now are ludicrous for crafting materia.

I agree with this, but you could always spiritbond your own! This is exactly what I did!

I've been trying to bind my own. I've seen the markets and they scare me. Already going to have to help my husband with his novus once he gets there ^^; so I try to avoid buying as many things as I can.. mats or materia wise. >->

    It seems to me, much like the battle classes, the real game happens once you hit 50. ^^;

Yeah.. i mean it wasn't too bad at first because there wasn't master books. Now you pretty much have to over meld to craft the items just to get the books ^^; least I can't say I'm bored.. just not use to such a demanding crafting system.

If money is tight, you can avoid Tier IV materia entirely on the novus which is the bulk of the cost

melding gear just to meld again... save some gil and buy those new crafter accessories and meld those.

they may be expensive to buy but remelding will probs cost you more in the long run.

This is probably good advice if you haven't melded any of the accessories yet. Although, I might wait until, say, next week or so. I haven't looked at the prices, but the biggest part of the decline on the price of new items comes quickly. Since you said you already have all of your HQ items (I assume this means the old accessories) they'll be good spiritbonding fodder.

Lastly, I'd concentrate on melding the new accessories first (helps all classes), then pick a class to meld the class specific gear and use that class to get spectacles and ideally raise some funds to meld all the other classes' gear. Or, if you love spiritbonding, you only need enough funds for materials. Personally I do my best to farm materials while spiritbonding (when possible) and mine/ harvest the others myself. It takes forever though....
