PS4 and Multiple Hotbar Saves?

Hey there,

Here's my dilemma:
I play on the PS4 and I don't like having more than 2 pages for my skills (Press R1 to switch) because it just gets a little confusing cycling through several pages worth of skills and worries me I'll end up on the wrong page when I need to clutch Benediction or something.

As there's only 32 slots then, I'm limited and have to exclude PVP skills.

Is there a way I can save my PVE hot bars, create a new set, and load them in & out?

Or is there another solution I'm missing?

Have you tried expanded cross bar controls on your PS4? They were released a while back for PS3 and were also carried over to PS4. I used them with great success on PS3 and now my PS4 gives me the love as well.

Simply go to your character settings, under cross bar or hot bar w/e they are called and disable sharing on all of them. Then set your controller crossbar to enable expanded crossbar. This makes your face control r1 plus left your expanded control bar. This gives you 32 commands in a unified set up. You can then toggle r1 plus circle for your less used or infrequent skills. It is jarring at first but you get used to it quick, just practice it and think out your control maps, it will make your life easier trust me =)

Actually that should give you 16 more since you can access both sides of that 3rd hotbar that way. I always use my expanded bar for things like LB, focus target, marking, etc.

What you can do for PVP, at least what I did was, bar 1 and 2 for PVE. Bars 5 and 6 are exact copies of 1 and 2. Bars 7 and 8 are variations with my PVP skills included. On my expanded bar, I put in a macro that swaps the two PVP bars into the first two slots, and a macro that swaps them back.
Something like /chotbar copy MNK 7 MNK 1 should work nicely.
