This whole "Grand Company" tied to Frontlines thing is pointless

I was Twin Adder, went to Immortal 'cause my friends are Immortal & we decided to queue up. Every team we face the Immortal Flames are raging noobs with no idea what to do.

I think this will lead to the disparity between GC's with people joining the GC that wins the most which will uneven everything. There shouldn't be a requirement of GC, it's going to severely unbalance this entire Frontlines gameplay option.

The GC should only be chosen for cosmetic reasons or just to represent that particular place. It shouldn't be tied to who can play with who. I was Twin Adder, now I'm Immortal & I regret it wholeheartedly since Twin Adder is crushing everyone.

This is such a stupid restriction. Not to mention not being able to get into games 'cause of trolls. Sigh.

Yeah but if they do that, a lot of the people transferring to the better GC are likely to be total noobs just looking for a carry. So I'm thinking it will even out.

If the lore is what's keeping people from having fun then forget the lore. I don't care what the GC lore thinks if it's limiting my fun. They could be doing Frontlines because they're fighting over cake I wouldn't care just make it fun or what's the point?

I was originally against it, but I think it will in fact even out over time. Maelstrom was getting our butts kicked on Primal the first three times I ran it, but after 10 Frontlines I'm dead even at 3-3-4. So it's relatively even at the moment. You may just be going through back luck cause I've been in some seriously awesome teams (fantastic communication, super flexible) as well as terrible ones (no one calling incs, no one assisting, no one fighting at flags). Give it some time.

I just did a Frontline where Maelstrom won with Immortal in second with 700. The Maelstrom decimated everybody. Immortals were running around with no idea. This is so dumb, I know I sound like I'm bitter or complaining I'm just disappointed because it's such a pointless restriction. You can be whatever you want, I just hate that the flag I bear is why I can't play with someone else. So stupid.

If you remove the lore in a MMO content, you pretty much destroy why this content is here in the first place.

And well, "limiting your fun" because you met bad teams ? there is much worse that could happen, like as an example my last match with 4 people, including myself, stuck in constant 90k freezes. Yet our team managed to get 2nd place with 1400 points... Everything can happen on the field. Did you try to communicate before saying they're complete idiots that can't do a thing ?


Also, you could go back to the twins, get crushed badly by other teams, then understand that it has nothing to do with being in XX GC but being with coordinated team

My worry is that this restriction will probably cause a lot of people to not even bother with Frontline because a lot of people want to play with their friends. Switching GC is extra work but if they don't switch, they can't play with their friends, so they might just ignore Frontline altogether.

We were also supposed to be repping our GC's in wolves den, strangely we could team up with others regardless of lore.

You can also bring in the idea of our friends being hired sell swords as lore. I'm all for lore, but it's a weak excuse when the game hasn't taken the GC's seriously.

If the argument for keeping restrictions is lore, ask for more lore with the taking away the restriction. If they don't resort to fan fiction.
