Old Six-arms drops

Has anyone tried farming Old Six-arms since the 1.18 patch? My LS and I spent several hours tonight killing him repeatedly, and we could not get Shellsplitter to drop at all. Venerer's Bracers, which is supposed to be a ~12% drop, was dropping something like 80% of the time. I know it's random and can fluctuate, but given that some of the NM drops and drop rates have changed in the last patch, I was wondering if this was a bug or an anomaly.

Apparently the drop rate of items for certain nms was reduced...so good luck with that

Likely just an anomaly. I had similar issues when farming those NMs. Although I split-main both LNC & ARC, I was able to get LNC drops within 1-3 tries, whereas ARC could sometimes take upwards of 15-20.

Forget Old Six-arms... tell me how often that stupid Dodo NM drops the shield... killed over 30 times with wife and 0 drop prior to 1.18 and 3 times so far after 1.18... we must have really really bad luck with that shield LOL

Ironically, we had great luck with the shield. We got 3 drops in probably... 12 kills, I think? I guess we just had bad luck, but on different NMs.
